BXN (Buctril) transgenic tolerant cotton has been tested on a limited basis in University trials in 1997 and 1998 with extensive testing in 1999. In 1999, due to the changes in “One Quality Law” governed by the SJY Cotton Board, several thousand acres o f Stoneville BXN-47 cotton are now being commercially grown.
