Roger A. Isom, PRESIDENT/CEO

Roger is President/CEO of the California Cotton Ginners and Growers Association and Western Agricultural Processors Association. He brings over 30 years of regulatory and legislative advocacy experience, specializing in environmental and safety matters. Roger’s responsibilities include the management of both Association’s staff and day-to-day operations. Roger also oversees the major issues including environmental, safety, pesticide, energy, food safety, labor, and transportation issues, while managing the consulting services side of the organization as well. Roger is Chairman of the Citizens Advisory Group of Industry (CAGI), President of the Ag Energy Consumers Association (AECA) and the Agricultural Presidents’ Council (APC). Roger has extensive safety and food safety training and is a Certified Lead Trainer by the Produce Safety Alliance. Roger is a graduate of California State University, Fresno with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He is a Registered Environmental Assessor in the State of California, and has an EIT Certificate from the State of California. Roger is also a member of the Air and Waste Management Association, American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers, and the National Fire Protection Association.
